So the decorations have come down, the presents have been opened, the turkey's all gone (if it hasn't all gone you have our sympathy), the only chocolates left are the hard centres and creams of indeterminate flavour (we have to wonder why chocolate manufacturers bother putting them in) and the diet has started (and in some cases has been given up already).
The batteries are already running down in the new gizmos and gadgets, except for the ones that you're still trying to assemble because the instructions seem to have been written by someone that's never actually seen the thing that you're trying to make and the empty boxes have finally been squashed down enough to fit into the recycling bin.
Yes, once again Christmas has come and gone and the new year is here. We hope you've recovered from the excesses and managed to find somewhere to put all the kids' new toys, and haven't broken too many of your resolutions yet (unlike us - we lasted about a day).
