Enjoy-a-ball sessions are held on a Tuesday morning. There is no extra cost above the entrance fee to ragamuffins; we cater for the younger end of the age range, so it serves as a gentle introduction to sport for younger children.
From the Enjoy-a-ball site: "Enjoy-a-Ball is a sports coaching programme for girls and boys aged between three and nine. All lessons are taught in a caring, positive, fun-filled environment and there are never more than 10 children in a class. Our objective is to make children's first experiences in a sports coaching environment happy and memorable."
Monday afternoon is full of music and fun as Kindermusik comes to ragamuffins. Classes are from newborn upwards. In a Kindermusik class, educators lead a group of parents and their children through joyful activities, using music and movement. Parents learn more about their child's unique developmental process, and the shared learning experience creates a unique bond as the child associates learning with fun, musical play. Remember how you loved singing and dancing when you were young? Remember how your parents would say "Rodney, pleeeeeeeaaaassssee would you be quiet and sit still for 5 seconds?" (okay, they might not have said Rodney. Unless your name is Rodney). Well, Jo Jingles is a great excuse for your children to sing, dance and generally make a lot of noise and move around to music.
You can find out more at the Jo Jingles Website. Here's a brief extract: "Jo Jingles provides fun music, singing and movement classes for babies and young children. With the help of our Jo Jingles doll, trained and experienced presenters run the UK's most popular music and movement experience." Sounds good to us!
Every saturday from 10AM (see below for times), the children can come along and learn some french that's appropriate to their age range, and you can relax with a coffee (or a tea). Then they can play on the huge frame and you can sit back and wonder where they get their energy from. What a bonne idée, as they say in France*. It costs £6 for each child for a 45 minute lesson (includes unlimited time on the play frame).
Places are limited to 8 children per class so advance booking is required - you can book for as many or as few lessons as you like, but we're told that it's recommended that you book for half a term to give the children a chance. Email us at bonjour@ragamuffins.co.uk if you'd like more information.

* - ragamuffins takes no responsibility if you can't understand what your children say after they've been to these classes.
